Government & Courts

Whatever the environment, and wherever in the country it stands, these six answers do not change.
How far do you travel?
K9IDS is based in California’s Central Valley and covers the entire United States. Near home a visit is a short drive; further out it is a planned trip that carries a two-day minimum engagement, so plan on booking it further ahead.
When can you be on site?
We work 24 hours a day, by appointment, so a pre-dawn window before the building opens or an overnight shift change is bookable like any other. Lead time is under six hours, depending on distance.
What exactly gets screened?
We agree the areas in scope with you in advance and screen property only — never a person. Anything outside that list stays untouched.
Will it interrupt our day?
It should not. One handler and one dog work quietly on lead, and the sweep is designed to run without moving anyone or stopping work.
Who decides what happens next?
You do. We show findings to your designated contact on the spot and step back. We do not open, seize, or escalate anything.
What do we get in writing?
A record of which areas were covered, when the visit took place, how long it took, who was present from your side, and what the dog signaled on — including when it signaled on nothing.

Workplace sweeps for businesses maintaining a drug-free and weapon-free environment — offices, manufacturing plants, and processing facilities, here in the Valley or anywhere else in the country. Workplaces are best served by a recurring schedule under a standing agreement, so that policy enforcement stays consistent and predictable rather than reactive. One schedule can cover more than one site, and those sites do not have to be in the same state.
Scope is worth settling with your counsel before the first visit. Company property is the straightforward part: lockers, desks, shared areas, company vehicles. Employee-owned vehicles in your lot are not, and whether they are in scope turns on your handbook, your posted notices, and any collective bargaining agreement in force. We screen exactly what you tell us we may, and nothing else.

Events & Venues
Pre-event and day-of sweeps for concerts, fairs, conferences, and gatherings where a large crowd justifies an added layer of screening. Sweeps are scheduled ahead of doors-open, with coordination for load-in, vendor access, and any staged areas that need clearing first.
Give us your doors-open time and your load-in window and we work backwards from them. The sequence matters more than the clock: a cleared space only stays cleared if nothing re-enters it, so we sweep, you secure, then you staff. If a room has to be re-opened for a late delivery, tell us and we sweep it again rather than let the first pass stand for something it no longer covers.
