K9 Interdiction and Detection Services
Who We Are
K9 Interdiction and Detection Services runs handler-led detection dog teams throughout the entire United States, from a base in California’s Central Valley, for schools, government facilities, businesses, event venues, and logistics operations. The dogs are not trained for apprehension, patrol, or protection, and handlers do not search or detain anyone.
Core Competencies
Narcotics Detection
Illicit-substance odor in vehicles, buildings, lockers, packages, and open areas.
Explosives Detection
Explosive and incendiary odor in vehicles, bags, buildings, and venues before doors open.
Firearms & Weapons Detection
Firearm and ammunition odor, including gunpowder and black powder.
One Team, Every Odor Group
Every dog is cross-trained across all three above, so one visit screens for all of them.

What You Can Verify Today
K9IDS is a new company and claims no completed engagements. All of this precedes any signature:
- A certificate of insurance, licensing documentation, a W-9, and your completed vendor packet.
- Training and evaluation records for the exact dog and handler assigned to your site.
- A written record of every visit — areas covered, and whether or not the dog signaled.
- A named point of contact who is the same person on every visit.
